About Me
I’m Laurel and I’ve been interested in magick for as long as I can remember, most of us start out attracted to it and somewhere along the way get distracted. I was distracted, but could never leave it’s call too far behind. Raised Catholic, at 14 I chose to read the Satanic Bible to escape a reality that was constructed around me. At 16 I held my first ritual evocation, and now I try to learn and share more about my path every day. At present, I am also entered into a pact that continues to teach me the wonders of entering and observing others’ minds from within.
Magick of Spiders is a site devoted to the exploration of gods and magic path working. Featured here are key themes, ceremonies, and general information. Goetia entities along with Egyptian and Norse deities are my most common interaction with evocation. Divination, especially based on tarot, dream, and astral senses, is also an important part of my path, as is healing both myself and others.
We’ve all been new no matter how far in the past or how close to the present that is for us. I try to make my posts pretty newbie-friendly, but there will certainly be more publications coming out for those of us who have some more practice under our belts!
